NAIDOC SHIRTS & BURUMIN ART AWARD 

Here at BURUMIN we are proud to be part of an exciting community Involved in activities far and wide! Sharing culture Is a major part of our Business plan and a major objective of our Business is to give back to our local Community!

We have just received our delivery of this years NAIDOC shirts! and are excited to be using a percentage of the profit to put back into two local schools with the BURUMIN ART AWARD!

BURUMIN ART NAIDOC ART AWARD

COMMUNITY ART PROJECTS

Helping to bring communities together and share in cultural experiences is high on our priorities here at BURUMIN, together with local business and some government agencies we have been happy to provide our service to encourage people in whatever their endeavours with Art and Culture!

Some Artists have been very busy out in the community of late:

SOUTHERN STARS

We are happy as a Local business to be apart of this great event, to contribute towards the southern stars one of our artworks will be used as a performance piece!

OUR COUNTRY 

this work will be used as the feature of the performance and will be filmed by WIN from an ariel view.

THE BLAK MARKETS- SYDNEY

We were overjoyed when contacted by The team from The Blak Markets and First Hand Solutions and invited to display some of our very talented artists Didee Martin and Troy Lenihan (BUNMARRA) works at their first pop up shop in the city of Sydney.

LYREBIRD PRE SCHOOL 

Wayne Graham & Diane Pirotta have collaboratively been working on a Mural at Lyrebird Preschool which is engaging the children and Sharing Culture.

We can’t wait to see the finished work. and are so pleased to be Involved with local preschools helping to bring communities together and working towards reconciliation.

MICRO GALLERIES AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Out and about in the community as always has seen Troy very busy, he was recently involved in the Micro Galleries Display by Local Artist Jen Saunders with a sound scape production that was played through speakers in the park at Egans lane.

He has also recently spent a number of hours working with the PCYC on a variety of Art projects that have really made a big impact.

BUNMARRA @ CULLUNGHUTTI

NAIDOC week in the Shoalhaven is always abuzz with local activities within the Aboriginal and non Aboriginal communities Local Aboriginal artist: BUNMARRA conducted a "OUR JOURNEY" program at local pre-school Chullunghutti Aboriginal child and family centre. As well as learning about Aboriginal ochre paints, Indigenous art history and painting techniques, BUNMARRA showed the children how to create stories about their journey through preschool using Aboriginal and non Aboriginal Symbols.
